Monstera Thai Constellation 4"
- Light: Bright, indirect light. Strong filtered light preserves variegation and growth—avoid direct midday sun (can scorch white/cream areas). Too little light → faded variegation and leggy growth.
- Water: Water when the top 1–2 inches (2.5–5 cm) of soil is dry. Water thoroughly, allow excess to drain. Err slightly drier rather than constantly wet to reduce root-rot risk.
- Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity (50–70%+). Higher humidity encourages larger leaves and healthier variegated tissue.
- Support: Use a moss pole or stake to encourage vertical growth and larger fenestrations.
- Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer at half strength every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer. Reduce in fall/winter. Avoid overfertilizing—variegated tissue is less vigorous.
- Propagation: Propagate from stem cuttings containing a node plus some variegated tissue; variegation may revert if not enough white/cream tissue present. Root in water or moist medium; keep warm and humid.
