Monstera Deliciosa 6"
- Light: Bright, indirect light. Tolerates lower light but will slow growth and produce fewer/later fenestrations (leaf splits). Avoid direct hot sun that can scorch leaves.
- Water: Water when the top 1–2 inches (2.5–5 cm) of soil is dry. Water thoroughly and let excess drain. Reduce frequency in cooler months. Overwatering → yellowing leaves; underwatering → droop and crispy edges.
- Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity (50–70%). Average home humidity often works, but higher humidity encourages larger leaves and faster growth. Use humidifier, pebble tray, or group plants if needed.
- Support: Provide a moss pole, stake, or trellis for vertical growth and to encourage larger leaves and fenestrations.
- Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer. Pause or reduce feeding in fall/winter.
- Propagation: Stem cuttings with at least one node root well in water or in moist, well‑draining medium. Air layering on the mother plant also works great for larger cuttings.
